Istanbul, a space as large as the world.
Among thousands of cars, a man drives an invisible car.
Among thousands of passers-by, a woman captured in a moment of her life, without yesterday nor tomorrow.
At first, no risk of a car-crash. Only the story of two bodies meeting: the driver and his passenger.
Two steps to the left or to the right, and the whole picture will be changed.
The film was entirely shot on location in the streets of Istanbul, using strictly natural light.
The professional actors share the scene with the city's inhabitants, who play their own parts.
There is no dialogue in the film; the voices we hear are part of the décor, of the town's aural fabric.
There are no subtitles.
Istanbul, un espace grand comme le monde.
Parmi les milliers de voitures, un homme conduit une automobile invisible.
Parmi les milliers de passants, une stambouliote saisie dans un instant de sa vie, sans hier, ni demain.
Au départ, pas de risque d’accident. L’histoire de deux corps qui se rencontrent : le chauffeur et sa passagère.
Deux pas à gauche ou à droite et le tableau tout entier se trouve modifié.
Le film a été entièrement tourné en extérieurs et en lumière naturelle dans les rues d'Istanbul.
Les acteurs professionnels jouent en compagnie d'habitants de la ville qui interprètent leur propre rôle.
Le film ne comporte pas de dialogues; les voix qu'on entend font partie du décor, du tissu sonore de la ville.
Il n'y a pas de sous-titres.
